It’s only the 3rd of May and already things are getting a little bit better financially. Ivy and I received a boatload of cash at the beginning of this month, and I was able to use it to get current again with all our creditors… and pay off some other bills that I had laying around… and get the oil changed in my car… etc… etc. You see where this is going. We’re out of a financial hole now and I hope to stay that way. I still have to send a letter in for my student loans – that is how I am buying a new computer for us. Ivy and I have wanted to get two computers set up on a network for a long time now. That’s because we’re incredible nerds. Incredibly sexy nerds.
Today has been going by very fast… I started writing this in the morning and now it’s 1:30PM. I get out of here in a couple hours. Ivy is working until 7:00PM tonight, I’m going to go home, send off some letters I’ve been meaning to write, go to the gym, and pick her up when I’m done. I put myself back on health foods only today, since we can afford decent food again and we’re not scrounging for whatever fast food we can find. (Actually, I probably make our financial problems seem worse than they are… but I hate being poor in any sense of the word.)
I’ll be going to the new LA Fitness in the neighborhood… brand new location, seems really nice. If all goes well, for the month of May I’ll be able to work out there for an hour or so before I need to pick up Ivy from work. After May she gets put on days with me again… and then we can work out together, which is even better.
Nothing too much new to report. Little more money than normal, things should keep getting better where cash is concerned… should have student loans and a new computer in soon… trying to eat much healthier than I have been. That’s about it.
