Family is an interesting thing. Everyone has love/hate stories to tell about family members, and I am no different. My mother, for example, who my wife often refers to as a 'dying vine' is driving us all crazy. Yes Denise, we feel sorry for you. Now stop trying to force us to share your pain...
Really, her parents do everything for her. My grandparents are wonderful people - saints, really - and my mother hurts them time and time again. She also lashes out at me, and we're not currently on speaking terms as of yesterday. I grew tired of her abuse and told her to stay out of my life. She's chronically ill, yes. I feel sorry for her yes. Will I let her ruin my life? No.
On the flip side, Angie and I are enjoying life together more and more every day... if that's possible. We're still living alongside one another in mutual bliss, and loving every minute of it. If it weren't for shutting out the world and having great sex, I don't know what I'd do.
